Hearing protection The Silver-Line SL8 Drum Sander delivers professional results when sanding floors and decks.
The 1.0 HP constant-speed motor spins the drum at a consistent 1800 rpm for a smooth finish, while the Sander’s tilt action allows better control of the abrasive action.
The sandpaper is held under an alloy plate, meaning a fast, easy change of sandpaper with a flathead screwdriver (not supplied)
The entire unit weighs 52 kg, which helps with a consistent down force and quality of finish.
The Motor draws 18 amps, so a short, heavy-duty extension cord is recommended to ensure no significant voltage drop, and the risk of tripping the fuses or damaging the unit.
if using a generator, a minimum of 5kva or 4500w is needed
The dust collection bag minimises atmospheric dust.
We also have a range of different grit sandpapers available for purchase.
